Type

The centrifugal oil filter has a rotor sleeved on a shaft and has two nozzles with opposite spray directions. When the oil enters the rotor and comes out of the nozzle, the rotor rotates rapidly to clean the oil in the rotor body. The impurities in the oil are centrifugally thrown onto the inner wall of the rotor, and the oil from the nozzle flows back to the oil pan. The centrifugal oil filter is characterized by stable performance, no filter element to be replaced, as long as the rotor is disassembled regularly, the dirt deposited on the rotor wall can be cleaned and reused. Its life can be equal to that of the engine. Its shortcomings lie in the complex structure, high price, heavy weight, etc., and have high technical requirements for users.

Full-flow oil filters, such as replaceable, spin-on, split centrifugal, etc., as mentioned above, filter all the oil entering the system. The split-flow filter only filters 5%-10% of the oil supplied by the oil pump. Split-flow oil filters are fine filters, which are generally used in conjunction with full-flow. Most low-power engines only use full-flow filters, and diesel engines with higher power mostly use full-flow and split-flow filter devices.

This is because the existing oil filter relies on a single paper filter hole to intercept and filter out harmful impurities in the oil. In order to solve the contradiction that the same filter paper can not only filter out the impurities of particles, but also make enough oil supplied to the engine to pass through the pores. This is the filtering value obtained after thousands of experiments. In actual use, there are still 40% of harmful impurities that cannot be effectively filtered out by the paper filter element. Among these 40% impurities, ferromagnetic impurities are relatively small and hard, so most of them are ferromagnetic impurities, which will also damage the engine. .

Disadvantage 2: The filtration efficiency is zero under special conditions;

There is a bypass valve at the bottom of the paper filter element, which is designed to ensure that the oil can be smoothly circulated back to the engine when the engine is cold-started with high oil viscosity or when the paper filter element is partially or completely blocked. oil flow channel. When the oil opens the bypass valve under the pressure of the oil pump, the oil circulating back to the engine through the bypass valve will not only not be filtered by the paper filter element, but will also filter out the large particles of impurities that have been filtered out by the paper filter element. It is flushed back into the engine through the bypass valve, which brings uninterrupted secondary wear to the engine. From the above two shortcomings, it can be seen that the filtering effect of impurities larger or smaller than the micropores of the paper filter element can not be achieved, but only those impurities that are equal to the micropores of the paper filter element and embedded in the micropores of the paper filter element can be filtered. Therefore, the filtration efficiency is extremely low.
