Location of oil filters

The oil filter of the car is under the engine. The oil filter is also called the oil grid. It is used to remove dust, metal particles, carbon deposits and soot particles in the oil to protect the engine. According to the working principle, the oil filter is divided into: 1. Full-flow filter: connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil passage, and can filter all the lubricating oil entering the main oil passage; 2. Split-flow filter: and The main oil passages are connected in parallel to filter part of the lubricating oil sent by the oil pump. Automotive requirements for oil filters: 1. The oil flow meets the engine’s oil demand; 2. The filtration accuracy must filter out particles larger than 30 microns; 3. It can adapt to higher oil temperatures and corrosive environments.
