What will happen if the car does not change the fuel filter for a long time?

1. Decreased power: If the fuel filter element is not replaced for a long time, impurities may block the fuel injector, which will cause the passage of gasoline to deteriorate. If the fuel cannot be supplied in time, the power of the car will decrease accordingly.

2. Increased fuel consumption: The fuel filter element has not been replaced, which will make the oil circuit unsmooth, the oil pressure is not sufficient, and finally the oil pressure is too low, which will lead to an increase in fuel consumption.

3. Increased carbon deposition: The filtering effect of the fuel filter element is not good. If the impurities in the gasoline cannot be filtered, they will flow into the cylinder. When the gasoline is not completely burned, it is very easy to cause more carbon deposition.

4. Difficulty starting: When the gasoline filter is seriously blocked, it will be difficult to start or even unable to start. It will not start after a single ignition. It takes many attempts to start the vehicle, and it may even fail to start the vehicle.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the filter element, it is recommended to replace the filter element with a new one according to the time in the maintenance manual.
