The lubricating oil in the gas phase also has the characteristics of other gases, so it cannot be separated by mechanical methods, but can only be separated by chemical methods. Therefore, in order to separate oil and gas, it is necessary to first convert the lubricating oil in the gas phase into the lubricating oil in the liquid phase. Reducing the temperature and pressure is the most common method and the most effective method. In addition, the vapor pressure is saturated. During the operation of the equipment, since it takes a certain amount of time and pressure to change the lubricating oil from the liquid phase, in the actual process, the pressure in the separation filter is not very high, and the separation process is also very short, so most of the oil-gas mixture is in the liquid phase. form of lubricating oil. Therefore, how to separate the lubricating oil in the liquid phase to the greatest extent is the key content of the work. The diameter of the lubricating oil droplets in the liquid phase is generally 1 to 50 microns, and the smallest oil droplets are only microns in diameter, so the properties of different oil droplets are also different. By gravity, the large oil droplets can be deposited to the point of the separator, but the small oil droplets are suspended in the gas and are difficult to be separated.
