The compressed air from the compressor head entrains large and small oil droplets, and the oil droplets are easily separated by oil and gas separation. Small oil droplets (suspended oil particles below 1µm in diameter) must pass through the micron and glass fiber filter layer of the oil separation core Filtration. The solid particles in the compressed air stagnate in the filter layer of the filter element. When the oil particles pass through the glass fiber, they are directly intercepted by the glass fiber and the inertial collision agglomeration mechanism, so that the suspended oil particles in the compressed air are removed quickly Condensed into large oil droplets, the oil accumulates at the bottom of the filter element under the action of pneumatic and gravity. It returns to the lubricating oil system through the oil return pipe inlet at the bottom recess, so that the compressor discharges more pure and oil-free compressed air.

The solid particles in the compressed air stay in the filter layer when passing through the filter element, which causes the pressure difference (resistance) of the filter element to continue to increase. Otherwise, the compressor operating cost (power consumption) will increase too quickly.
